Sarah Bromberg began playing the viola at age nine through her public school\u2019s fourth grade strings program. A member of the Tucson Symphony Orchestra since 2015, she enjoys an active career as an orchestral musician, educator, and freelancer. She is a former member of the Canton Symphony Orchestra and has performed with the Cleveland Pops Orchestra and Phoenix Symphony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Equally at home in ensembles large and small, Ms. Bromberg has enjoyed chamber music performances with such artists as Boris Berman, Franklin Cohen, and Paul Kantor. She has appeared with the Cleveland Chamber Music Society, Saint Andrew\u2019s Bach Society, and as a musical guest on NPR\u2019s Says You.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ms. Bromberg graduated with honors from the Cleveland Institute of Music, where she studied with Jeffrey Irvine. Additional teachers include Lynne Ramsey, Stephen Wyrczynski, and James Dunham. Chamber music coaches include members of the Brentano, Emerson, Tokyo, Juilliard, Takacs, Cavani, and Cleveland quartets. Summer festivals include Norfolk Chamber Music Festival, Banff Chamber Music Residency, Spoleto Festival USA, and Aspen Music Festival and School, where she was the recipient of multiple fellowships. She is pleased to play on a viola by Gabrielle Kundert and a bow by David Samuels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
